How to extend the timing between two bookings
The best way to extend the time between multiple reservations for consecutive dates is to work on the default check-in and check-out times.
Due to various requirements that properties may have (the recent Covid-19 pandemic may also be responsible in some cases for these requirements) it may be possible that after a check-out, the property would like to take one day for cleaning the apartment or just to make it ready for the next check-out. For this reason, properties may need to disallow a new check-in on the same date when someone else is checking out.
You can easily prevent new guests from checking-in on the same day as when a check-out has already been scheduled, by simply setting the time for the check-in to an earlier time than the check-out. I.e. check-in time set to 10 AM and check-out time set to 12 AM.
You can do this from the Configuration page, so that at the time a new guest wants to check-in for a specific date, the room(s) will still be occupied because the guest will be checking out at a later time.
In case you needed to set multiple days between various bookings, then the only alternative solution is to set up some Restrictions, by defining some dates as "Closed to Arrival" (CTA) and/or "Closed to Departure" (CTD) in order to receive bookings only on/for specific days of the week. You find more information about the use of the restriction at this link.
Instead, every booking channel requires this setting to be applied at account level (i.e. Booking.com, Expedia etc..) with the only exception for Airbnb. In fact, by using the page Hotel - Manage Contents - Manage Listings in Vik Channel Manager, you can set one day for turnover for each of your listings. You can find the apposite parameter in the "Availability Rules" tab, it's called "Turnover days".
