Change audio file
Don't you like the default sound played by VikRestaurants? Isn't it enough loud to clearly hear it? Just follow the instructions below if you wish to safely change it.
It is possible to change the notification sound by uploading a new audio file within the following folder (via FTP):
/wp-content/plugins/vikrestaurants/admin/assets/audio/
The system will always use the latest audio file uploaded in that folder. DO NOT replace the default notification.mp3 file, otherwise it will be restored to the original one after updating VikRestaurants to a newer version.
Here's a list containing all the supported audio files.
- mp3 -
audio/mpeg - mp4 -
audio/mp4 - wav -
audio/wav - ogg -
audio/ogg - aac -
audio/aac|audio/aacp - flac -
audio/flac
Notice that actual support strictly depends on the browser. Take a look at the following link to understand which MIME types are supported by each browser:
