You can publish different information in the front-end based on which shortcode you create. Here's the list of all the shortcodes supported by Vik Restaurants.

All Orders

Shows the page containing all the orders and reservations made from a logged in user. By logging through this page, if not registered, it is possible to see a list of all the orders made, from the most recent to the oldest one.

Confirm Reservtion

Shows the confirmation page for table bookings. It is suggested to use this page only for SEO purposes, so that you will be able to have an alias instead of a query string argument.

Operators Area

This page shows the management area in the front-end for the operators of the restaurant. Here they can see the latest, incoming and current reservations, manage the rooms of the restaurants, they can create new reservations if allowed to, and so on. This is really a minified admin panel that can be accessed from the front-end.

Order

This page shows the summary detail of a take-away order

Confirm Take-Away Order

Shows the confirmation page for take-away orders (useful for SEO).It is suggested to use this page only for SEO purposes, so that you will be able to have an alias instead of a query string argument

Menu Details

Shows the sections and the products of the selected menu

Menu List

Shows a list of all the menus that are available for the Restaurant.

Reservation Form

Shows the form to start reserving a table of the Restaurant. Usually is used together with a widget

Reservation Detail

Is used to access the details of a Restaurant reservation of a customer.

Take-Away Menu List

Shows the list of the take-away menus to order your products.


Examples of valid and invalid Shortcodes

The screenshot below shows some shortcodes that were correctly configured and used on a page/post of the website, while two shortcodes are not properly configured. More precisely, one was never used on any pages/posts, while the other is used on a page that was moved into the trash in a second time. Both shortcodes won't work. The shortcodes that were properly configured will show a blue icon with the link to the page/post that is using them.
