Orders

A list of supported parameters that can be found under the Orders section of the Preferences window.

Download

Choose whether the application should automatically look for new incoming orders/reservations.

Select the manual option to download new orders only when you wish. You can manually download new orders (or at least look for them) by clicking the Refresh item under the File menu.

Refresh Time

Set the interval of time for which the application should look for new incoming orders and reservations. This value must be expressed in seconds (2 minutes by default) and cannot be lower than 30 seconds.

This parameter literally means "look for new orders every N seconds".

You won't be able to see this parameter if you selected the Manual option from the Download parameter.

View

This parameter offers the possibility to choose the things to display and print from the application.

The first set of options is related to the creation date of the orders and reservations:

• Daily - the application will display only the orders and reservations received for the current day;
• Weekly - the application will display only the orders and reservations received in the last 7 days;
• Monthly - the application will display only the orders and reservations received in the last 30 days;
• All - the application will display all the existing orders and reservations (not recommended).

The recommended option strictly depends on the volume of orders and reservations that your restaurant receives.

The second set of options let you choose whether the system should display and print the take-away orders, the restaurant reservations and the closures (of the tables).

Synchronization

Hit the Restore button to initialize the application and download all the existing orders and reservations.

Notice that only the orders and reservations compatible with the View parameter will be shown.
