It is possible to stop receiving take-away orders by using the Special Days feature. The special days can be found under the Operations section in the back-end.

The special days can be used to override the default behavior of the program for some hours, for a day or for a period. Thanks to the Menus parameter, it is possible to define all the menus (and the related products) that are available for sell in the specified period. By leaving this field empty, take-away orders will be no more accepted for all the special day long.

In case the orders shouldn't be allowed for a few hours only, it is possible to create a working shift defining that actual opening time of the restaurant, which will be assigned to the special day. In this way, the orders will be allowed only for the specified hours (it is always needed to select all the available menus).

For further details, you can take a look at our documentation:

Contrarily, if you need to stop the orders for the current day only, it is possible to click the Stop Incoming Orders button from the Dashboard of the program (Take-Away section).

It acts as a panic button that can be used to temporarily stop receiving any new take-away orders for the current day. It is possible to restart receiving new orders by clicking the button again, which will now report a different text ("Allow Incoming Orders"). If you don't press the button again, orders will automatically restart at midnight of the next day.

This tool is useful when you are receiving too orders and you believe that the restaurant won't be able to handle other.
